MARION WATERS author

Marion Waters is a retired school principal. She lives on a hobby farm on Vancouver Island with her husband and various pets and an extensive garden. She has a close-knit family that includes two sons and two grandchildren.

Marion loves the challenges of learning to make stuff from scratch - soap, clothes, trellises, bread, maple syrup – whatever captures her imagination. She believes story-writing follows a similar process; begin with an intriguing idea, apply some skill and imagination, and eventually something wondrous will happen.

Marion is currently completing her Master Gardener certification and writes a gardening column for the Campbell River Mirror. 

Ruby’s Spring is her first novel.
